Meet at Tesco Abingdon CarPark 10:30

Chat for a few minutes

Drive for a few minutes to a local Cafe

All are welcome

Directions to thd 10:30 meet point:

From A415/A34 heading East into Abingdon

At the roundabout with a Wooden Monk on it.. turn right..

At the speedbump and mini.roundabout straight ahead

Then after @50metres
Turn Right into Tesco carpark

There are 9 spaces along the hedgeline..
Ideal for us..

Any preferences on 'Cafe'

H cafe was ok.. but hard to access on a Saturday from Tesco

A trip around the Northern edge of Abingdon would find Tilsley Park ..has a basic provision..But vast parking

then Wells Stores shop.tea room and Turkeyfarm.. small carpark.. but its a big green space

Not noticed Tilsley Farm before, well, seen the entrance as I passed, not been botherred to investigate. The website does not push a cafe at us, more a sports centre, so no idea what they offer.

Wells Stores website gives detaisl of the cafe, and a menu, which looks fine. As it looks like only a few of us, that looks like it would work.

Its a SportCentre..recreational area

With lots of parking and 'facilities'

Spent many a Winters evening around there when my son was based locally

The 'TurkeyFarm' is a relatively small enterprise.. but as there wont be that many of us should be fine
I am going to pop into the Cafe: tearoom one evening to see more

(Its got to be more sensible than 'Millets' on a Saturday morning..)

As today is the 12th, and the event is scheduled for the 16th, it may be a little early to say. Hopefully we'll be able to let you know later. (Sorry, couldn't help myself) Being that you appear to be in the US, I guess we probably won't see you there. Long way to come for a bacon sandwich.

Despite waking up to pouring rain..

The weather was great

We were joined by a Local family and their Punto JetBlack.. quite a rare car.. between that and a Panda Alessi we had some seldom seen cars

Mine didnt event feature in Turin Brochures

Cafe was good too.. but sharing the carpark with a Pumpkin Seller..and a Van full of Grapes.. was an M.I. first
