Hi all,

I am new to the site - forgive me for not making the usual polite introduction (I'm familiar with usual forum etiquette) but my circumstances are a little unusual.

I have been asked by a friend to sell a particularly nice Abarth which belonged to her recently deceased husband. I am used to buying and selling cars (and mainly motorbikes, actually) so am happy to take photos of all the usual parts of a car (interiors, engine bay, tyres etc).

My question is, what are the specific shots that an Abarth purchaser would want to see? I have read some posts here and understand that maybe the exhaust collector box is important - what else should I try to capture, to give purchasers all they need in order to confidently assess this car?

I'd really appreciate any guidance. Once I have taken the pics I'll post them here for comments, to make sure I've captured everything.

Thanks in advance - I understand the wisdom that resides in an online forum such as this, and at this time it would be such a help to have your thoughts.

Cheers,

Paul

Service book entries , alloys condition, all four, general front , rear both side views, general interior condition (I.e. seats for a start) engine compartment, point out any obvious flaws

If you don’t have much picture quantity limitation in your ad, the more the merrier.

The usual stuff really, the more you can show off the best bits the more chance you have of holding someone’s attention.
And that goes the same for showing obvious flaws

Hi all - I have been looking at the car. It's in absolutely astonishing condition. It's a July 2021 595 Competizione in grey. Car and Classic suggests it's worth £22,000. Does this sound realistic?

Look at Car gurus on the net. You will see what is a reasonable valuation for year and type and a spread of current asking prices. That car would grab my attention already. Its going to be in the top end of values for its year. You need to be 750 below a dealer price to account for warranties offered Good luck
