Quick note just to say what a great forum this is and thanks to all who contribute. I Know I have only had my Abarth for a very short while but I was offered a great deal for it and have decided to sell. No particular reason really as I love the look and sound it makes but must say that performance wise it's looks are better than it performs. No disrespect to other owners it just lacks a little bit for me. Thanks and keep upthe good work. (y)

Good by mate ..I hope you enjoyed the experiance ..just a shame it was the abarth you bought as I have said many times its not the best of engines and silly gearboxes ..good luck with the next one whatever it may be (y)

No idea what is next but the Abarth went today a little sad but I think something like a Saab Aero or anything around the 220 bhp area. Thanks again, John.(y)

Don't buy a Vauxhall Aero! Can I suggest sir considers a FIAT Coupe 20vT; bang on the 200bhp. They don't wear Dame Edna Everage glasses either...

Seat LEON CUPRA R 225, get REVO to remap and you have got 270+bhp = A great car!

I had the 180Cupra (pre bodykit) Mapped to 220ish, I would love to have that car back :(

Hmmm... RX7 or if you´re feeling classy a 93 Porsche 944 S2 Turbo... way over the 200 mark and pretty cheap to get one in mint condition now a days, and since most parts are ford, you don´t have to pay porsche maintanance costs as any garage will happily deal with it.

Thanks for all suggestions I have decided to leave it till the new year as there is no rush and I prefer to have something come along rather than chase after it. Seem to get a better deal then.....lol. (y)

Thats a good idea lol :D

it can be like your new year resolution to get a new car.

Hi all, I know it is over a year since I posted and have had a few cars since.....lol. I am the owner of a 53 plate Scooby WRX now but am thinking of coming back to the fold as it sits on the drive too much 900 miles in 4 months!! So I am going to sell it and get another Abarth woohoo and have some cash in me pocket for a change. (y)

wise choice... or how about a schumi stilo, with some of the prodrive goodies

Yeah dont go for the sillyspeed again. Get it remapped and an induction kit and you should have exactly the sort of car that you want.

Would love a schumi but too near the value of my Impreza and it will sit on the drive most of the time so will probably go for a manual Abarth again.:)

yeah I know, but want about £4k plus an Abarth to swap mine!!!;)
