sounds more like they stuffed your old ecu back on and fixed the wiring fault to me but wheel never know realy

but at least you got it fixed anyway whichever way they did it

I hope it cost them I can just imagine them trying to claim all the bits they ordered on warranty lol

i believe it is fiat minimum standard to have at least 6 or 8 loan cars I'm not sure but there should have been a shiny new fiat for you to drive wile yours was in for work that I find completely unacceptable

have you ever tried going on the ata accredited technition award web site and looking up the nearest master technition at a fiat dealer near you that way you can be sure someone that knows what there doing will work on your car

I know it's a different ECU, as I made a small sneaky mark on the previous one with a UV pen and it's not there now.

I did speak to the technician who was working on my car the last time and he did indeed seem to know what he was talking about and welcomed my input, which is good. Beats having to go through the moron of a service manager there who treats customers with total contempt

no problem I don't like seeing people thobed off and there cars and lives destroyed

all thou there are things afoot at work one of wich is a new fiat uk manager
lets hope things will change all the things that you have encountered are the things they aim to change for one thing you will be able to talk to a DET instead of moronic service managers
