Also, exactly what is a NODE? Whats its deffinition so to speak?

A node i an electronic unit which communicates with other units inside the car or with the external diagnostic tester.
In the Stilo the units communicate on the CAN bus with 50 kbps and with 11bits identifiers or on K-lines with KWP2000 or 9141-2 protocol.

yes, the body computer is the master node within the CAN network which has a build-in gateway to connect the low- and high speed can bus sytems to share their information with all nodes within the network.

I retrofitted the speedometer and all working lovely, after a week the colour matrix has just gone black, I can hardly see any of the colour, anybody know how to fix this?

take a picture? possibly just a dead MFD...it is from an 02 car....what milage are you on? ive sourced out three...one on 43k, one on 100k and one on 54k....im buying the 43k if the guy ever collects the abarth thats being broken, and the 54k is a reserve (im ok 53k, i can always wait lol) the 100k is owned by the same guy that is getting the 43k....

Well it's completely black now, no life at all, mileage is 85k, how would I get it fixed?

Hi all!

I need some help regarding an abarth dash retrofit.My car is a 1.6 (od course non abarth; I only fitted the dash no connect nav+ or anything )and I fitted the dash and did a proxyi alignment via FES and all is good...but I have The airbag light on, long story short it will stay on because I know what the fix is but I only will have the time to fix it in the coming weeks...so back to my question...The airbag warning will not go away when I push mode button ( as I was used to in my old dash) and the TFT can't display trip, audio etc data..(because of the airbag warring staying on..) is there any other way or button to push so I can see the data on the TFT..??
