I am thinking of taking Po to this [URL/this]http://vintagestony.co.uk [/URL] on new years day, may be a good way of blowing the cobwebs out, if your close enough.

Could be up for this. It's not too early either, which is a bonus! (y)

Would have to be Panto or Howie though - I've Sorned everything else for the winter (well apart from the Abarth & the red scraggy one which don't count for classic events!).

When are you deciding? If it's chucking it down with rain I'm not interested - if it's chuckng it down with snow it's a definite yes. :slayer:

We had a run out to the Lakeland Motor museum and found a cousin to park alongside.

Then cruised home in the snow lane of the motorway (winter tyres are fantastic).

Haflinger-tastic..!!(y)

Are you planning to "lose" the 1st completely Charlie?!! I've had hangovers in the past, but don't think I ever forgot New Year's Day. The meeting is on the 1st, so doesn't really matter how delicate you are on the 2nd...... ;)

Actually scout I'm already delicate, and suffering from something nasty which has gone to my chest - I've a few days to recover, but I may not be up to standing in the cold on NYD. :(

Yes I went, there were a couple of alfa's, about 5 ferrari's and 4 fiat's. My Panda a 124T saloon, a 124 convertable and an X19. There were also a few very rare Porches, a convertable Mk2 cortina and some Jags I've never seen before including the XJ13. I'll put some pictures up soon.

These are the Fiats (All I could find)

Surely I wasn't the only one to go to a car show on the first day of the year?

The Panda got a good reception, with lots of people saying "I had one of those as my first car", "my mum had one of those", "we used to hire these on holiday" and "didn't they make a 4X4 one" ( @Palio Howie would have gone down a storm ;) )
