A Little help on a big engine

i also was lookin at gettin a turbo bolted on mine, or swapin the engine, Avanti motorsport was the most knoledgeable place i found. but another place i called only quoted £700 to swap the engine if i could find an old written off vehicle to take it from, which is much less than the £3000 odd quoted in max power

but as i'm only 19 i can;t afford the insurance anyway! so bang goes that idea!

Allan, i was wondering, who were the other company you rang and did they quote you £700 for the engine swap from a 1.6 or a HGT, it sounds like a good deal to me, can they be trusted?

Well two companys said they could, but they were both not large companies, the first one definately like a family n mates business.

the first one www.rudecar.co.uk , the name put me off, but the mille miglia actions on the Red Brava are actually mine now, i bought them off the guy for £420. and when i went to get them i saw the brava and the omega in the felsh, and it looked like good work, but i'm not gauranteeing it. give him (Tony) a ring, he always seemed happy to help.

the other one was http://www.pugsport-gti.com which i have no idea about, but they guy seemed helpful.

if anyone does do anything like a turbo conversion or engine swap i'd love to hear how they got on, any probs etc.
