General a hint for anyone with front mudflaps..

Hello chaps, justa quick one to give you a heads up, i fitted a full set of dealer mudflaps to my stilo multiwagon, after a week, i was driving home when i hit a bump and the front mudflaps hit the ground, when i got home i noticed that my clips had come off, asked fiat but you cant buy just the clips apparently.

so i tried different ideas, and even thought about drilling holes in the front wings and using a rivnut to attache them.

but low and behold after looking around on the internet i took a chance and bout a set of ford focus mk1 mudflap clips got 6 for £3.95, they do need a slight bending of the sprung metal but once thats done they fit on perfectly, so anyopne that has lost there clips or if you have got some from a scrappers with no clips then this does work pretty well.

its the same on the rears, i once ripped one off, took me a while to source something to sort it. i ended up on a trip to sheffield chancing on universal clamps. i bit of plasticoat later and you couldnt tell!

i know one thing for sure this time i will stick the clips to the mudflap incase they pop off again at least then the clips will still be on the mudflap lol
