So hey all, me again if you've seen my old post.

So after a week or so of having my fiat bravo 07 1.4 non turbo I've realised a few problems that I'd be really thankful for any help with.

First, Squeaky Right Wheel.

So I noticed this when I bought the car straight off, and shrugged off the issue thinking it was due to the car being at a stand still for quite a while. Yet it has unfortunately persisted.

The basic problem is that, at very low speeds in reverse, and whilst taking sharpish left turns the front right wheel will begin to squeal, literally. It's a piercing noise and well I have no idea what to do haha. My highly intelligent diagnosis is that it will most likely be the wheel bearings. But I would be very grateful for any help on what it is and how to fix it.

Second, Low Engine Oil Pressure.

Now this is an odd one. Of course if this ever came up you would pull straight over as it advises and that's exactly what I did the first time. Yet in seconds, it was gone. After having it happen several times now I have realised that it seems to be caused by sharp turns.

Whenever a sharp corner comes up and I'm going at a moderate speed, the dash will bleep and the warning words "Low Engine Oil Pressure, pull over and stop engine immediately" will be displayed. After straightening up after the corner the warning will have gone. And I am able to drive normally until the next time.

Once again if anyone what so ever is able to give any diagnosis and help with both my issues I will be very grateful :)

Thanks again

The squeak could be just the shield backing the disc. This is a thin metal shield that can easily become distorted , for example by hitting a small branch in the road. Jack up the wheel and check that the shield does not touch the disc when you turn the wheel . It could also be a stone in the pad , sometimes this can be shifted by reversing and braking. Finally it could be a sticking caliper,(remember this car had done seven winters of corrosion risking salted roads)

Re the oil warning . Assuming the oil level is fine, then I have experienced (on another fiat) a faulty pressure switch. I would recommend a new filter and oil change (if not a full service) in any case if buying a second hand car with unknown history.

Can't thank you enough for the advice my friend :D, I'll get the baby jacked up later today and I have a pretty good image of what I should be looking for, but we'll see how that goes ;).

As for the oil I've topped it up yet I kinda feel like it would be a good idea for a change, it is second hand yet I have full service history. So we'll see how it goes.

Thanks again for the help :)

The first one is a ball bearing of yor wheel, whic needs to be replaced.
The second one is insufficient oil level in the engine. Replace the oil filter with the right oil specified for this engine and it will solve your problem, viscosity is very important also.
