I have been a bit off-line from the forum lately, but I will try to reconnect shortly...

We are moving from south to north in Norway, selling / buying houses and coordinating new jobs, school / kindergarden etc.

The Stilo will be facing a 2000 km trip in mid-December through rough climate (snow, hard wind, steep climbs and mountainpasses, possible winter storms, -30°C for longer periods, slushy and icy roads and complete darkness). I plan using 3 days for the trip as it is Winter with capital W.

So tomorrow I will get hold of a pair of Hellas to light up the path in front.

Alright! House sold for a good price. :) Now I need a new one... Am I allowed to link up a "sold" ad for my now ex-house, just for fun - where the Stilo era started?

It's just 11 days for the scheduled take-off now. The Stilo has tried its best to warn me about the trip the last weeks:
- Both headlights blew.
- 4 parkbulbs blackened (almost no light).
- Instrument cluster died.
- Low oil pressure warning at startup.
- Flexi joint at exhaust shredded.
- Rear backbox selfdestruct.
- Radio died.
- Wipers quit.
- Climate control hot on one side / cold on the other.

Fixed:
- Philips longlife dipped beam.
- Philips parkbulbs.
- Abarth cluster (proxy aligned and working)
- New center exhaust with flexi.
- Another OEM HU installed. Thanks for the code Davren.
- New wiper linkages installed.
- Added extra Hella 320 main beams with 100 w bulbs.
- Overnight battery charge.

To be fixed:
- 5 l Mobil1 0w40 and new OEM filter, alle here in house.
- Backbox from Supersprint has now reached Köln, making its way north.
- 2 climate control servos, received from Holland.

All right. I'm back (back in the New York groove, as Ace Frehley said once). It was a great but exhausting trip. Norwegian winterwonderland with ups, downs, insane curves, (black) ice, snow, heavy wind and whatever strange climate incidents that occured during 2000 km. And a ferry...

I'm now at 70°N but still only -5°C. There are so many hills here, that the studless wintertires were abandonded for Nokian 7 studs. The Stilo is actually a really good climber with great wheight ratio.

Just got back from the MOT, with only 2 faults: Worn ball end (don't know the term) that connects the hub to the arm there (not the track rod end), and handbrake working on right side only... Annoying, as the left rear caliper was the one that seized the last time. Damn that salt.
