Request from a friend- if we get fewer than 12 Pandas, can he bring his £900 Diahatsu Terios for a test and comparison please Andy?

No problem at all - there are now no limits on vehicle convoys on green lanes, the rules were changed earlier in the year - but if we get more than ten vehicles I am going to ask Sam (with the Discovery) to lead one group whilst I take another, just incase ;)

Sorry for late input,

Right the date for the third Yorkshire weekender is...

Option 3: Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of September.

I am very sorry to those who can't make this weekend :( As before I have tried to cover for the the main majority.

The official event thread will be posted this week with all of the info that you guys will need!
I have been calling around Masham regarding available accomodation and I'm afraid it's not looking good, The King's Head which was the favoured pub only have two single rooms available left for the weekend in the hotel, but they do still have the family cottages available. I am calling in at a few more in the area tomorrow to get some more info. I will keep you posted but for now if you'd like to search yourself, or wait for the event thread midweek for my usual crop of recommended options :)

Just a quick update, we drove the Saturday route last weekend, including the planned visits and stops. It will all fit nicely into the afternoon with plenty of time for Panda-chat! Aslong as we get some nice weather the day will be brilliant. If it rains we shall revert to plan B, which is equally as much fun - but undercover!

I will get the trails driven that we will be taking on the Sunday, before we get to the event weekend also

Excellent(y) We now have a change of plan, my Mum wants to see the Yorkshire Dales but wants to spend more than a weekend there and not most of the time driving so we are renting a holiday cottage in Masham for a week, arriving on Friday the 26th.

This means I no longer need the rooms at the Kings Head so if anyone wants them they best be quick! Also it will spread the driving out for me which is no bad thing!

That's great news! Any places of interest that you want to know of just give me a shout! Hey you could bring your welder too if you want :D ;)

Cheers Andy, will do, some good local knowledge is always useful:worship:

I find it hard to go a few days without doing something car related so a spot of welding about mid week would do just fine :p(y)

Haha, every holiday ends up being a working holiday! But I was only joking :D you come upand enjoy yourself - we could do some night time green laning!
