My cinquecento SX has fuel/ignition problem, sometimes when accelerating hard it looses power but if I floor the throttle it will pick up after 20 to 30 seconds and then runs fine, any ideas ???

All the above, could be a dirty/clogged fuel filter. Almost sounds like a fuel pressure problem?

New lambda sensor,MAP sensor , throttle position meter and water temperature meter fitted. Also fitted new petrol filter and checked fuel supply at injector unit, all OK. Could there be a problem with ECU.

Unlikely but not impossible, seems you have replaced a lot of parts that could have been tested with a multimeter...

As I have said may times recently diagnosis through the internet is hard!

Check for leaks as already suggested, especialy on the map sensor, check it's getting its 5v refference, check the exhaust flows freely and do a sniff test to check the head gasket isn't compromised or the rings shot (compression test).

You're looking mainly at 4 things, air (in/out), fuel, ignition timing (advance) and spark. Have you read the fault codes?

Even an intermittent crank sensor can cause problems like this.

After trying all tips I have fitted a new fuel pump and the car is now running better than ever, many thanks to all who responded to my question
