im running a uno inlet manifold and spi.

im thinking of going mpi and running the punto 75 inlet manifold. a few quick questions

is the punto 75 better flowing than the uno? or not.
does the 899 bob fit ontop of this so i can use the gsr???
how big is the butterfly?
and for mpi i just splice the two injector wires into the four to make a batch fire? and will the ecu run this ok?

also do 16v fuel rails fit? thanks alot fellas.

Think arc had some problems with the flow of a p75 manifold, try a search.

But for ease of fitting, id just stick the p75 mani on rather than bodging the uon one on, craig did it some how

Edit, he beat me to it

uno one is bolt for bolt mate. not a bodge at all as i already have this ?

was just thinking of getting more air/fuel into the engine as it doesnt seem to be running rich enough high end.

would of if i was going punto 75. but if not staying spi head. got the later punto 60 block so its got the larger valves and came with the 866 so the mpi head (other than inlet stud pattern) has no difference.

there larger??? upon rr's from a few friends it seems that the cars are running lean before they get a problem with air flow. although i was tihnking of getting the mpi head for the ports as i wasnt sure if there was a difference.

ehaust side is the same as i ran my 1108 mani on my P75 for a week until i could be arsed to mod the down pipe lol, and the 16v inlet is way different lol as i have one lying around lol no chance of fitting with out some serious work

cool a comparison would be great. definatly interested in this now :).

here you go. hard to see but they are massive.
look at how much of the valve stem you can see compared to the spi

btw dont use the sei mpi head! the ports on that are SMALLER then the spi ports!

nah i want the punto 75 head on a spi inlet. cool ill look at the one in the scrappy see what condition its in. my uno inlet is port matched to the spi but doesnt look like i could open it out a massive amount more... ill try and fine a pic. but is the standard 1.1 inlett really ok? as the uno flows soooooo much better.

mate. if i had the skills a custom would be on lol.

pluss i dont really know the makeup of a inlett. sounds odd. but i know longer= more torque? but even that might be completly wrong lol.

realllly would give custom ago though if i only knew how:p. lesson brooky?

did you have a read of this?

all about planning really

longer runners to each cylinder does mean some more low down torque as you have more fuel and air mixture there waiting
