Technical 6 speed box

Isn't the 55 6 speed FD rather low in combination with the cinqu's tyres thus making the stock 5 speed box better however the box looks to be great when you get the Punto Sportings FD on it if you don't mind a stretch to 4th for 70mph.
 
Someone posted a list of the ratios here: a search might find it. Maybe the moderators could stick it somewhere prominent? But from memory the 75 and 16valve puntos have higher final drive, some of the others definately have lower.

Novitek sell spacers (look like very expensive washers!) to limit steering lock when fitting a 6 speed box. A sledge hammer should take care of the rest!

I find the gap between 4th and 5th a real pain on motorways: you're doing 95 when some fool in a BMW pops out in front of you doing 85. You slow down and when he ambles out of the way you've the choice of either buzzing the engine in 4th or waiting forever in 5th. Neither is very effective. (n)
