Hi there,

Am new here but will try not too sound like a divy,

Bought a multipla with snapped cambelt, got the head done up (replaced valves, skimmed, replaced buckets)

After I mounted the head and all the auxiliaries back to the bottom end the car won't start. It is 51 plate multipla 1.9jtd 110 version. There is no fuel outta fuel pump and no pulse to the electric circuit which goes to the injectors.

Just scanned the ecu which gives me all the same code after deleting them:

P0190 fuel pressure sensor circuit
P0235 boost pressure
P0110 intake air temp sensor circuit
P0101 air mass sensor
P0201 injector cyl1 circuit
P0203 inj cyl3
P0204 injncyl4
P00202 inj cyl2
P0380 thermostat relay

It seems to me there is electric fault somewhere but can I hell figure it out. If someone had a similar problem after removing the head please help

Best regards ondrej

If anyone has any kinda hint to my problem I'd greatly appreciate it before I start chasing the whole wiring loom

Thanks

Hi there

Thanks for the replies,

Earth strap that is mounted to chassis underneath the battery is solid on.

Do you mean the camshaft sensor itself?

Thanks ondrej

Just a thought to the previous response.....wouldn't the faulty camshaft sensor throw a code in the diagnostics?

Thanks ondrej

You checked the wiring loom is all correectly plugged in?

There's a multiplug up under the scuttle panel area beside the glow plug relay - check that. Also, every one of these faults are connections that could share a common multiplug or even a fuse.

Thanks yeti,

Yes after bolting the head back on torquing it down I realised the car wasn't starting. So that was my first thought that I missed something important. Am sure this scuttle you are referring is the big bunch of loom wire and plugs in a bracket underneath the inlet manifold and under the injection rail. So I removed both of them to realise everything was intact and as it should be!!

Unfortunately for me at the moment it seems the ecu have packed up. (cant really tell you why) I have chased he wires back to he main fuse box in the engine bay to realise there is voltage into them.

So at the moment it seems like am gonna be changing the ecu immo and key barrel. Really gutted

Thanks for reply ondrej
