Technical 500l automatic gearbox issues again

so im back again with yet another auto gearbox problem ( I'm really starting to dislike this car)
the hydraulic pump for the gearbox is going continually with red transmission light on dash
i have to disconnect the battery to get it to stop . plugged it into a obd11 and comes up with code p1769-62
relay stuck closed . so i swapped the relay with another one and all was ok . 3 days latter same problem but now the pump continues to run even when the relay is removed
anyone know what could be the problem now i have already spent a fortune having a new clutch fitted only a couple of months ago . the oil level is correct

it is a dualogic fiat 500L 2014 The pump is running all the time even with the relay out

Dualogic is not automatic. Has it been PROPERLY serviced before? This however might not be the cause here.

Are you sure you took the correct relay out? It looks like a wrong one, or one of multiple. Or some kind of short. Have you checked a wiring diagram?

when the car first did this i removed the relay t20 the pump stopped straight away i changed the relay with another identical relay and the pump stayed off , The car drove fine for a couple of days and them when pulling up outside the pump was again running with the engine switched off . This time removing the relay makes no difference i haven't got a wiring diagram only thing i have read about is either the pump itself or the accumulator is at fault

Which engine is that? I'll try to generate an eLearn doc if available in the evening.

Hahaha, FIAT is very helpful, as usual The official troubleshoot for the error you've got:

They don't even bother to mention which relay is that...

Confirm the engine type, perhaps the wiring diagrams will tell more.

its the 1.3 turbo diesel now i have been out trying again tried resetting gear box erasing codes and nothing so removed relay T20 and after 4/5 minutes the pump stopped so i have put the relay back in started the car again and run it around the block and all well but for how long i don't want to sell the car as it owes me to much money only done 43.000 miles i paid to much for it and spent about £1500 on repairs

Have you ever serviced the Dualogic?

There are not many workshops that know how to do it, but the system needs precise and regular servicing. There are many threads on the forum, but as far as I remember there is one that discuss the servicing.
