Tuning 500 engine change

hi guys, i have possed this in the other cars section but as the 126 is basicly the 500, i thought i would also ask hear.
is there any truth in the 899cc cunquacento engine fitting straight onto a 126/500 gearbox. not the fire engine 100cc punto with all the one off adaptors . i run the 126 engine and box in a trike or will do when its biult up fully. and while the lot is in its infancy. if i can get a more powerfull engine in with out the expence of one parts having to be made. that would be great.
really want the trike finished for spring, when there is a Celtic brotherhood bikers rally in scotland, i'm in East Anglia. so a strong engine would be cool to make the trip.:slayer:

I would very much doubt if a 500 or 126 gearbox would fit a 899cc Cinq engine.

However, I'm sure someone with more technical knowledge than me should be able to give you an answer?
