Technical 4x4 front springs

Another Suplex front spring bites the dust. Now both fronts are SKF, which supposed to be better quality. Brought a new compressor, as this becoming an annual/bi-annual event. did the other side in July. Still fun as being tapered spring and limited coils you can compress, but sorted a technique and easier/safer than the previous two long studs, with claw hooks kit. Took just under 4 hours, with some time to put together the compressor and remember that the struct bottom bolts are 16mm head and 17mm nut. You need either a deep 17mm or a 16mm which not in the basic range. Now to wait for a couple more to come that on back order ready for next time……..
