Technical 4x4 1.3 MJT error code P0005

The p0005 has two differents meanings

Thirst : P0005=Shift solenoid B
Second : p0005 Fuel Shutoff Valve "A" Control Circuit/Open"

Is someone know the correct one for the panda 4x4 ?

And what they means ?

Diesels cannot be stopped when running by cutting the ignition (spark) like a petrol as it doesn't use a spark.

There is a "stop" solenoid on the high pressure injection pump that cuts the fuel off.
This code I believe relates to this solenoid.
I believe there's a fault with it that's caused a few owners issues.

Hi,
the 1.3 MJT have electic injectors,
so when you want to shutdown the car, just stop open injector.

so on the HP pomp there no electric connector, = no shutdown valve.

another idea ?

i have cleared the error, then run the engine, and it is not comming back ?

Probably the EGR valve solenoid is out. It uses to happen in this engine. The EGR is a valve located back to the intake box. At a certain rpm in a certain circunstances, the EGR drives exhaust gas to the combustion chamber again, in meaning of do not let the engine increase rpm too much fail the cylinder head by excessive temperature.
If you noticed an engine power decrease, and probably black smoke in the exhaust, the EGR failed in the ON position. If you noticed a truly life engine power increase, the EGR failed in the OFF position. In both cases, the engine warning advisor appears on in the panel.

A french fiat service, says that p0005 is not documented for this model !
This car commes from belgium, maybe a special option ?
