Factory fitted with in-dash 5" screen, with satnav & reversing camera facility, auto displayed when reverse gear selected, except there is no camera, so you get a 'no camera connected' message on the screen. There is a co-axial cable connected to the rear of the head unit, (not the radio aerial), so it appears to be wired for a camera, as you would expect if it automatically switches on the camera input and displays it on the screen, when reverse gear is selected. My problem is that I cannot trace the other end of the cable, to connect a camera. There doesn't appear to be an appropriate cable/connection underneath/at the rear of the vehicle. Nor can I find a wiring diagram from any source. We have a working reverse camera, fitted by the dealership, which displays on a screen clipped on the redundant screen mounted rear view mirror, which has a 2nd camera input. However, the reverse camera, as fitted, has a limited view and I've added a second, to work as a rear view mirror. I don't want to dismantle half the interior of my MoHo, to run a second camera cable. There isn't an easy route through, especially with a ceiling hung electrically elevating double bed. Nor do I want the second camera to display on the windscreen mounted aftermarket screen. I want to use the existing in-dash display. Is there anyone out there who can tell me where the in-dash unit camera cable comes out, please?

Have you contacted the moho builder with your question?

Ive run cables out side the van. It is easy to run from centre to driver's side and down to foot well then to b pillar via large grommet. I use a split conduit to protect the cable. The rear is a different ball game, very dependent on particular motorhome. Maybe easier to come back inside.

On a coachbuilt van utilising a back to back cab and chassis, the cable is usually terminated by Fiat in the driver's B-post within the coachbuilder conversion socket. It is then for the converter to extend the cable to the rear of the conversion. If that has been done, you would have to ask Rollerteam where they route it.

Normally if no camera has been fitted, the radio is reprogrammed via the BCM so that it doesn't activate the video screen when reverse is selected, although my van was supplied programmed for rear speakers without any being connected, so I suppose anything is possible.

Hi, as previous post the connections from fiat are in the B pillar drivers side. If you have a cable to the rear it is likely to be an RCA connection. If that is there I would remove the high level brake light and see if its in there. Or in rear high level cupboard or similar.
Cheers
