Punto Evo 2013 Punto

Hi guys mi name Rene I'm from Mexico my hometown is Monterrey and 3 months ago I purchased a brand new Punto Evo but let me tell you something.
I'm the only one who have a Punto here in Monterrey. There are a lot of VW, BMW, SEAT; and other makes but FIAT only 500 so they look at me like someone weird !! lol

anyway i found the Punto really cool when I was at the car dealership so I just bought it and I really like it but it's a nightmare come true cause nobody sells rims or wheels that fit on my Punto so I decided to lower it 2" but nobody sells springs in Mexico nor USA for Punto only for grande Punto.
Does anybody know if they have the same suspension? I mean the springs to fitted in both cars?

Some times I think a made a bad decision having my Punto but then I decided to google some Punto enthusiasts and here you are, more people who loves grande Punto's and Puntos like me as well.



Hope to hear from anybody to keep post it and see your beautiful cars lowered and what you recommend for me.

Hi Globs,

So, your Fiat Punto is the same as seen here in Brazil. Just the front bumper seems to be slightly different.

Globs has a 2013 punto , the same as my italy built 2013 twinair,

the Brazilian car is the older version sold in europe as the "punto evo", very few differences really

in europe the european Opel Corsa has the same componenets as the punto- the wheels should be easy to find..,
, not sure if GM sell that model in Latin America though..

This engine "twin air" is a very interesting engine! Small, powerful, and low pollutants emissions. Soon it may be available here.

For while, the cars run here with ethanol, or ethanol and petrol (gasoline) at any proportion (flex), to reduce pollutants emissions.

I attached a picture with versions of Punto at this moment. The engines are named here by "E.torQ".

At Fiat 500 there is engines called MultiAir, 1.4 16v, 79,8 kW.

the Twinair used Multiair type valve actuator technology, giving good power and clean running,
BUT it is an expensive choice compared to the old 8 Valve 1.2 engine in the same 2013 car,

looks like Brasil is at the end of the EVO line, ready for the facelift cars..,

Hi guys i just red what you said.
Yes my car is Italy built as well.
It has twin air multi air turbo 1.4L and 135HP
It has star/stop function but I really don't like so much so I turn that off every time I get in te Punto.

The Corsa was sold until 2008 here in Mexico so I think it's really difficult to find parts for my Punto.

I attached a pic of the motor so you can see it and hope you like it.

BTW, I have a dilema

I found a guy in the USA who sells sport springs H&R and he says that they fit on grande Punto and Punto Evo as well.

Do you guys know if they change the suspension or something or it's the same?

In the advertisement says this:

Grande Punto + EVO
Typ 199, incl. Abarth, Mit ABE*
2006 >

Can you tell me if you have a Grande Punto and know have a Punto and they are the same, because in the manual didn't say anything at all !!

Please help me if you can.

hi , that's the multiair, it has 4 cylinders, the twin air has 2 x cylinders (twin)

ask the guys in the GP section, pretty sure the UK models are all the same,

maybe use ePER to compare part numbers for each model..!!
