Hi, We have a 500C 2012 Twin Air and a week or so ago we had to remove the battery to replace the thermostat housing. It all went together fine and started but has now developed an intermittent starting problem; it cranks but doesn't start for a minute or so. Feels like its out of fuel... once its running it goes just fine! Every other time it just starts. Doesn't seem to care weather its hot or cold.

I open up to all the best brains here!

Hi. :)

Odd one youve got there..

2 more obvious possibilites :

Sensor around thermostat is not reading temps accurately now.. either wiring..or an airlock

Battery location cabling damaged or loose.

Just condidering what you may have disturbed.

Main thing I can advise:

Carefully check all the dash symbols when it does its self test..

Listen for relays..and the sound of the fuel pump ;)

You may find what is lacking.. when it plays up.
