Technical 2010> dark headlights

I'm seriously contemplating buying some as they will complement the dark of my car brilliantly. few questions though, are the connections all the same and also does it use the same bulbs? Basically what I'm asking, is it a case of swap over and done?

I've checked the bulb sites and they seem to be the same bulbs. And shop 4 parts label it as compatible with younger models but that may mean it needs slight modification for all I know.

I think they would suit your car!

I've always wanted to do it to mine, but with a lighter coloured car I'm not sure it would look right so so far I've steered clear

I'll give it a good think over the next couple of weeks. Won't do it until after I have my alloys done either way will definitely look good. Tinted my rear lights and think it looks brilliant.

It would look even better on lighter color cars. Check white GP Abarths for example...

I also have the dark headlights in my to do list, but I am also considering the Dectane units with daylights...Have you checked them?

Dectane look good but at 285 they are a lot.

Need not worry. The issue is with those thinking you're an Audi wannabe.

DRLs are not specific to just Audi's.

Yeah thats a good way to look at it.

They do serve a good purpose, I think more cars should have them.

I just think unless they are perfect they look odd as an aftermarket item.

I know what you mean, my main bug bearer is those not willing to spend the £ and getting the cheap nasty 'styling' lights that they want to look like DRLs but obviously aren't.

Some people don't think my DRLs are in the best of places but at least they're fitted so they're symmetrical and do the job they're supposed to, make me look more visible

Check they're RHD beam pattern and not LHD like 99% are

To be honest I am happy with my hid kit at the moment they add a nice touch good quality and less than £25

These are the ones I was talking about above. There are Bravos with those fitted, there was a thread with an image from French/German forums.

The issue with these is light error indication on the dashboard...

Is that all that happens same scenario if you swap number plate lights you can get message on the dash and it throws up the yellow light on dashboard.is this the same thing what would happen if say the above were fitted to our UK Bravos?
