No, paid for that.... I'm running out of media opportunities so have to now pay to get the panda in print.

Saharan sand & melted Arctic Snow in the footwells only gets you so many column inches and then the papers loose interest

Anyway, Sylvia is beyond repair within the time that I've left so we thougth of....

But really, driving a brand new car round the UK is hardly a challenge so we needed something a bit more work ;)

So I fished out our old 'Color' that I bought of David in Liverpool in 2007 from the Garden... So yesterday it had no MOT or Tax and was painted in Dulux. Not a great start

What a difference a day makes thou

We're Taxed, Mot'd and got one coat of new solvent based paint on that will be able to take the vinyl graphics better

Just a fix on the exhaust tomorrow and a set of Uno Turbo alloys and we're all go!

Thanks David!

I hear you had some interest from the N.I. Citroen folk in your Air Cooled Visa? They were asking if I knew you lol

BTW hope your not too annoyed about the handpainted color but it actually does look really good! As someone said in another post it's the 'Stealth Panda' LOL

Would of loved to of called to see yourself and I Liverpool as I hear it's got a pretty lively night life which would of worked well with our 'mission' but as we only had 7 days to get back to Belfast it would of been tight.

(says the man who made it from Madrid to Belfast in 35 hours in a panda.... Oops)

Hi Jim

Will follow the trip with interest! Love the e-mail address, and the logo - am sure you would have had a blast in Liverpool too. Was dubious about the new paintscheme til I saw it but think it looks fantastic. If you want any vinyls or stickers doing, you could get in touch with fuctfiat (Julian) in the Uno section.

I did hear that Roger was taking a reference about the Visa! When he said he lived in NI and had a friend with lots of Pandas I thought it must be either you or Stuart. Shame it didn't work out (although I think he was half relieved - too many cars already.... a common complaint!).

Now, where does the drag come in?....

David

Aye, Roger has too many cars as it is but it was really funny when he called to say that he was interested and I'm going, but it's 650cc!!!!

We've got some new graphics to go on the 'Stealth Panda' Wednesday so will get pics of that up but the funniest photo of the launch was when my co driver John told me to stop dicking about for the cameras in his own unique way

Anyway the drag came from too much wine and me getting into the word play of TopGear vs TopQueer and how much the 'Drag Race' fitted in with the Pride Parade. It's not really my thing but was too funny to not to try it! Wonder if that makes my panda an honorary Panda Parade?

BTW Mojo's Drag name is 'Pandarama' lol
