I had to take the connector off the original sidelight wire and fit the resistor then fit the connector onto that to get them to fit
biggot some of these for sidelights today, no more flickering lights and warning light on the dash, thanks SJB1985 for the link

Seen this before and I think it was a faulty or loose connection under the seat. Failing that find someone with the multiscan software to turn it off permanently

prob wont have it that long but i think it would easily do it, never had no major probpems with the car and still runs sweet ?
