we used this from halfords and didnt bother cleaning them before

yeah man do it cheap and cheerful mod, ours are like black now though from dirt n brake dust lol

Yeah but a quick wash they would be fine, I recommend buying some cleaning spray, I managed to get some from work because I work at BMW and I sprayed it on my callipers and it stops the brake dust sticking
