Simple question really - is a 2008 30lt Ducato full or part canbus or something else?

Looks like a wasp's nest to me. Even without after market stuff nearly everything that can go wrong will sooner or later do so in a Ducato. If you really feel you need cruise control, have Conrad-Anderson install it. The "chassis computer" in the fuse box may need updated firmware if it detects new devices on the bus and will let you drive around with a warning light and/or error codes until it is satisfied.

Thanks CDK. Should have mentioned in the opening post that the CC isn't for my Ducato motorhome but another guy over on Motorhome Facts that's going down the DIY route as we speak.

I had a company called rhino installs fit aftermarket cruise to my 2012 3.0 Euro 5, it is can bus, the wiring just plugs in line to the speed sensor pulse wire loom I believe which is low down behind the lower dash panel near steering column and pedals, although on the 2011 on build they changed the plugs on the loom and possibly the loom itself as the fitter had to create a loom to fit. All done in an hour if I remember correctly and it was minus 3 I think temp he did it in, came all the way from Preston down to watford London to fit it
