i am "considering" removing the Cat from my Motorhome .....Further.... when I do get her up in the air I'd like to re-position the Exhaust ... at the moment the exhaust is (usual Place) just behind the drivers door ...... however my Fridge is directly behind my driving seat & when stood stil (Traffic congestion ect) I can smell Exhaust fumes in the cab (More than Likely from the Fridge vents) which is just above the exhaust outlet

Rolopolo / Techno 100 .............. You guys ever come across this (Moving /re-positioning Exhaust ect ect ...........)

Seasider. You should not be getting any fumes into the van from the fridge vents or any drop outs as the fridge should be sealed to prevent gas fumes getting in.

If the fumes are getting in it would be a good idea to check the seal around the fridge and any holes for pipe work behind it.

I had a 2007 Ducato and had the same problem with the exhaust fumes. The reason being the exhaust pipe just behind the drivers door. The newer models have the exhaust set back further.

Removing the cat would of course be an MOT failure issue.
Any custom exhaust builder will meet your needs.
Mine exits near side as a motorhome with habitation door on offside being French built.

I would ask around local garages see who can knock up a modified exhaust pipe mate, dependent on condition of current back box someone should be able to chop and add a new section in, and need to fix a hanger mount further back, might be worth popping down a factors and looking at their exhaust book (if the still have books) compare layout of euro 4 & euro 5 exhausts, E5 one might fit!? Just a thought

A curved extension tip was sufficient to sort fume ingress on mine was about £18 in stainless. EGR is a common issue on that engine also might account for copious amounts of fumes.
