Technical 20 V Turbo Air con

Hi I have a 20V Turbo when I hit the Aircon button the light wont come on and also no cold air would anyone have any idea what the issue could be ?

IM not sure I only got it would cause the light not to come on when I pus the ac button

Ok had a nosy when the car is on and fan at 0 if I hit the ac button the fan comes on so it must it must be doing something

Do you actually get any cold air out the vents?

It may just be a bulb burned out behind the button.

If the fan comes on when activated that does imply the system is switching on, and is fairly easy to check on the 20v turbo as the compressor is on the front at the top of the engine bay. Just turn it on and see if the centre of the compressor is turning with the pulley.

If it is but the aircon is still not cold then all indications point to it being low on gas

im getting colder but just like you would from a car with no ac I will have a look at the pump and see

Ok checked it the centre of the pulley is not turning no matter what setting I use

OK got some gas in today the bully centre spins and I got cold air

Yes it does not as bight as the other button beside it
