had a right ordeal with this car the past month, its had a new clutch, hydraulic release bearing, dual mass flywheel, alternator and battery

thing is when I start the car, the battery light will illumanate untill I flick the ignition off then on ( very quickly, quick enough for the engine to no stop)

Ive also noticed once the car is running (with battery light ON ) if I turn it off, let the engine stop then start it up again BEFORE the car makes its little "bzzzzzzzzz" that it normally does about 3-4 secs after the engine is stopped, I dont know if any of you have heard the "bzzzzz" im on about, if you turn your car off in a quiet place Im sure you will hear it

the 2nd problem is "Hill Holder Unavailible" though Im told by a friend that works at a dealer this is very likely to be the clutch pedal switch?

I've had the hill holder unavaliable a few times this winter (on really cold days) when i start the car to let it warm up whilst i defrost the windows. Put the clutch down to select 1st gear and *beep* I just turn the engine off and on and its clears fine every time. So i would say I agree that its likely to be the switch? I thought it could be low voltage from the battery and all that with the cold weather. As previously my stilo use to throw up abs, etc errors when battery was low or on cold days? When does yours come on.. Should be an easy job to change the switch though... or does it have to be plugged into the examiner? If some one could enlighten us? I would say with your battery light your gona have to go fiat.. you could try clearing it with a code reader see if that does the trick!

How did the clutch go? any symptons... I know a few people have had to replace the clutch and dual mass at around £1k. Were did you go any how much out of curiosity
