hi its late so cant really check the car

bravo 2000 1.2

2 issues

1) when i start the car, if i move lock to lock i hear a water gushing sound..prob the heater

i might even have air trapped in the system but unsure hoe to get it out..
any ideas?

2) when my main beam stalk is turned to the on position...it never came on tonight

i had my sidelights which were fine..i tried full beam and they worked fine but both my main beams were off/??

any ideas

Try your fues first for you lights. Thats the easiest fix. If not it sounds like a dodgy stalk which aint cheap.

Full beam, main beam, dipped beam.
Eeny meeny miny mo. ;)

Agreed, fuses first, then stalks.

Its gonna be stalks. Beware, new ones are £130 or something daft, so get down to a breakers yard, and get one 2nd hand. Its good practice for getting the steering wheel off. On the subject of steering wheel removal, you should disconnect the battery a few hours before. also, leave the keys in the house. Do NOT be tempted to put the key into the ignition until the car is back in one piece.

hmm

SORRY TO SOUND IGNORANT

but why does this happen

also is this a job that can be done yourself?

i have been told to check the connector block near the steering column...if that makes sense?
