Technical 2.8 JTD Warning Code

I have a Rapido motorhome on a 2005 2.8 JTD.A new key was recently coded at a Fiat dealer, now when i switch the ignition on 'batt' flashes where the mileage is displayed for 2-3 seconds, has any one else expierenced this.

Hi, I was told by the dealer the engine battery is low.
