has anyone got the fuel system layout for this engine as I am currently trying to fit this engine into a power boat. most things I have sorted out exhaust, cooling system etc just need to sort fuel run and the electrics for the fuel system.any info would be appreciated thanks.

Interesting use of the JTD.. Would have thought a marine diesel would be more suited to the sort of conditions and use though.

when i got the engine the scrapyard has just cut through the wiring harness. i have all the parts ecu unit, plug and about 12ins of the loom attached and the middle chunk of wiring harness..what i need is the wiring for the power to the ecu unit and the wires to the pump colour codes. the engine was in running order so all being well its just this wiring problem. i chose to use this unit as of the bhp and it will chip up to more bhp than the original boat engine.
the fiat manuals will have wiring diagrams for every sensor and every wire, on the loom, making your task a lot easier.
unfortunately i dont have any manuals that include the 2.4jtd.
try ebay (but ask seller if what you are buying includes what you need)
you could explain your dilemma at a fiat dealer and i bet they would sell you a copy of the manual. failing that bribe someone who works there to get you a copy (seriously).
