General 2.0l 20v rear brakes.

I would like to thank the Forum for advice on how to change the rear pads on my 2.0L 20v HLX. Its not a job I would normally touch, but at the mot today the mechanic showed me the rear pads.... looking at the rear of the car and starting from the left, 3mm and 3mm, but on the right hand side 1mm and bare metal. Perhaps this explains the odd squeaking noise I heard from time to time ! But I have to admit that I have been shopping at H******S in order to get the winder for the rear end cylinders. Your alowed to shop at Halfords for tools, although i know GSF for example do the exact same windback tool for £15. instead of £20. (£14 with Halfords Trade Card) But its needed to do the job easily.
