2.0 8v twincam (122hp)

Hi i got a 2.0l engine out of a fiat 132 got a carb on it
i am going to tune the engen as muds as i can and am wondering if any of you have any idas what i can do to it and how far i can take the engine am going to swap out the pistons,camshafts,conectingrod and am wondering what i can do more.
money ant no problem so I'll take any ideas and check them out.
got to take my friend in a drag race in 10 moths he got a turbo civic.

Guy Croft recons a 170bhp engine will cost around £7000 together with all the bits required to keep it in good health.

Will it beat a turbocharged Civic in a drag race? Depends which Civic. But in N/A trim, I doubt it.

A turbo 16v engine from a Coupe would be a much better starting point. There are some 400bhp engines about, generally running in Integrales. But tuning these still isn't going to be cheap.
