HOW HARD WILL THE ELECTRICS BE? AND WILL IT DROP STRAIGHT IN COS THE ENGINE BAY IS HUGE IN THE PUNTOS

No doubt a huge job and a nightmare to get working. Not sure if it would fit in either. I cant see it 'dropping straight in'. Probably some hacking and bashing needed to get it in there. Will be expensive and time consuming :?

u can get the 2l 20v turbo into a bravo hgt. but to put it into a normal bravo would need more work but is also possible.

(i know it has nothing to do with a punto but not to worry lol  )

I was wanderin about engine swaps n was wonderin how much were talkin when people say it costs alot? around 1000+ or is that no where near?

it would be over a grand, when you buy the engine and all necessary parts, then labour if your getting it done proffesionaly, wouldnt even bother doing it as its a lot of money to risk not working.i was told a 2.0l 20v turbo from a coupe would fit straight into my stilo, and even then cars nowadays are all run by electrics, it would have taken a long time to re-wire the whole car and then get engine mounts manufactured and then the exhaust would need to be changed etc etc, fuel pumps and upgrade brakes and suspension, its crazy, your talking £3000 to do it properly, waste of time when you'd be better off buying a faster car to start off with, thats why i'm not bothering with turbo's and big engine mods, just wanting rid of the car so i can get 8 cylinders, 3.2 litres, and two turbo's as standard to play with.

to put a 2.0 16vt from a coupe into a Punto your looking at 7k at the cheapest. Thats to buy your parts and fit them. Never mind rebuilding

crazy idea.....will set u back at least 3 g easy............buy he novitec engine get yourself a 300+ horsepower puntang
