nosing round the fiat motor club site, and saw this:

Earlier in the year some Club members visited the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport. The visit was arranged by Robin Palmer and we were entertained by the President of The Enfield and District Veteran Vehicle Trust, Mr Stanley Chamberlain. Stanley gave a very interesting talk about the history of the Museum and a guided tour. We were very impressed by the Museum and all it had to offer, so much so that we have organised a Fiat Motor Club (GB) National Event to be based at the Museum on the 19th of June 2005.
The Museum is housed in and around the former Whitewebbs Pumping Station and contains many cars, motorcycles and items of memorabilia. It is run by The Enfield and District Veteran Vehicle Trust.
The Museum has three floors and the ground level is occupied by cars, trucks and fire engines. The first floor houses a selection of classic motor bikes and the top level has bicycles, motor related toys and memorabilia. There's something to interest everyone and this Fiat National event is an ideal family venue. There's even a Victorian railway station at the back of the museum complete with an old dining coach. This was apparently a real station in Enfield and when it was decided to modernise it the complete old station was moved to the back of Whitewebbs.
The Museum will be open especially for our event on Sunday 19th of June from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The cost of entry will be £3 per car which includes access to all areas of the Museum.
This is a Fiat National Day and all Italian Car owners are welcome.
Whitewebbs Museum is situated within easy reach of Junction 25 on the M25. From the A10, turn right into Bullsmoor Lane. At the T-junction, turn right, follow the road round into Whitewebbs Lane for 1.7 miles. The museum is on the left at the far end of this road, 150 yards before the next T-junction.
