1999 punto

can you help? i have got a 1999 fiat punto 8valve and i have got a water leak from behind the waterpump housing.there is a metal pipe which runs in front of engine with a link off to rad hose but where it goes into back of pump housing it is leaking quite severely.i can not see how to remove this pipe as to try and repair and wondered if anyone could help
