You are blessed with a pre - canbus car. You can (although it's a fair bit of work) fit the kit from a Mk1 Punto with electric windows.

If you can find 14" 6J with a suitable offset and PCD they'll allow you to run cheap 195/45/14 tyres (Rainsports or Faulken) and bigger disks and calipers (vented Marea, Punto GT3, etc.)
