Punto (Mk1) 1993 punto wobble at 60

i brought a 1993 5 door punto and it was fine untill the other day all of a sudden as soon as i go over 60mph there is a rumbling wobble which i think is coming from the back of the car but obviously i cant get out and check at that speed . please help me

Take it to a tyre place to have the wheel balance checked. With no other factors (like crashing into a kerb) chances are a wheel balance weight has fallen off and you just need to get the wheel rebalanced.

If that's not the case you might have to investigate further but it's most likely that.

I can double what AndyRKett says, the wheel balance being out is the most common cause of wheel wobble from 45mph up.
