Hi '55, Its a 2.5 litre deisel with a turbo. Its in a LHD Hymer Camp 56. I connected the 240v lead up and left it on for about 2 weeks. Dissconnected the lead and when I started it I had no dashlights, wipers, fuel gauge etc. It started straight away and although the battery light comes on when the engine is revved up when I put a voltmeter accross the battery terminals it its charging OK. The batteries are in good condition. No power to fuse no 10 so I wonder if a rodent has chewed the wiring as this has happened before on a car I had here a few years ago. Its an orange wire and with a diagram I can trace the wires that go to the fuseboard. It may be the ignition swith has gone faulty but the sidelights and headlights work OK wen I turn the ignition on. Its a strange fault. My friend who is a mechanic with good knowldge of wiring looked at it and he also says we need a wiring diagram. I am not very good with I.T. Can I get a look at the manual you mention?
cheers
