Hi,
Can anyone help? I am a new driver and have had my 1990 Fiat Uno 45 FIRE (1L) for about three weeks. The previous owners hadn't used the car for a few months.
It has driven fine since I got it, however, it has become trickier to start . The engine will start, I rev it a bit and then it will just cut out as if the petrol is not getting through. On the third or fourth attempt it seems to get going and it is fine.
Yesterday it started to lose power as I was driving. I would have to put my foot down a bit more to keep it going, but every so often the engine would get back to normal and it would surge forward then feel as though it would die on me again.
Could this a problem with the fuel / air mixture?
Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing?
Any help or advice much appreciated!
Thanks
