Technical 1977 fiat alternator update to internal regulator

Hi All! I have a 1977 fiat that I'm converting the alternator to an internal voltage regulator. I canceled the grey wire to the external regulator and haven't done anything with the large orange wire going to the fuses. What do I need to do to get the alternator to charge?? I have read that you shouldn't use LED bulb for the indicator light. I'm not sure what other wiring changes I need to make. I have a yellow wire with a red stripe at the alternator to the relay. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
