We have a 1937 Fiat Topolino A woody delivery - that has been rebadged as a 1947 Simca. I'd like to restore it as a Topolino. I've purchased several boxes of parts for the restoration including a new wiring harness, all new rubber plus numerous rebuild kits for the front end etc. The car is totally original and unmolested, needing minimal wood work and body work. I currently have approximately $12,000 in the car - do you have any idea what the value of this car might be? I'd like to not put more into than the vehicle is worth.

We're new to the site and any help you all could provide would be great.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Al!

It's very hard to put a valuation on your car simply because it is so rare. You also probably have the oldest car on the forum! To be honest you should look at getting your car valued by a vintage car auction specialist as I seriously doubt anyone of the forum has ever owned a 1937 Topolino, let alone knew how much they are worth!

Good luck :)

Thanks so much for replying - don't know if you got our email or not - not exactly sure how this works.

Do you have any info on parts availability?

Thanks.

Hi Al,

Yes, I got your email and sent you a reply just now. Unfortunately I know no more than that which Jai suggested above.

Sorry :(

Hope you do manage to find the parts you need though.

I'm sure you're right - I guess anything is possible - we're going to list it here and on ebay. Deciding to go a totally different direction.

Thanks(y)

It's going to a great home to be restored - I will tell him to join us and do want him to send me updates of this old beauty!! Hopefully will be back in a Fiat soon!

Hi. I'm new to this forum. It's the first I've ever been on, so I hope I'm doing things correctly.

I'm looking for some help. I have a 1939 Topolino. It was immaculate and in daily use until the head gasket went around 6years ago. Since then it's been off the road. It was also left uncovered through my marriage break up. It is still in lovely condition and has a new head gasket.

Unfortunately, I need to sell, but I have absolutely no idea how much it is worth or how to sell it.

Can anyone help me please?

Re: 1939 Fiat Topolino

I'm new to forums, so I'm not sure if I'm doing things correctly.

I have a 1939 Topolino. It was immaculate and in daily use until the head gasket went around 5 years ago. Since then, it sat uncovered for a couple of years, due to the end of my marriage. It now has a new head gasket, but I've not put it back on the road. Still in lovely condition, but no longer immaculate.
Unfortunately, circumstances force me to sell, but I have no idea how much it is worth. Can anyone help me please?
