1910 td question

hi i have a 1910 td the question is on the diesol filter there is a fuel pre-heating device WHAT DOES THIS DO AND WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF IT NOT WORKING thanks

fuel preheat I'm guessing it preheats your fuel because its a diesel
Basically it aids if not allows combustion of diesel under compression

if its not working I'm guessing you will have less power and perhaps more wear (due to more vibrations and extra forces)

Note this post is based on things purely in my head

And welcome to the forum if it hasn't being said out there

its a wide world and an even wider forum out there

the car has lost power and it does have vibrations at higher speed
