Newbie here got a question please :)

Hiya all, just signed up today to ask this question as there's conflicting info on the interwebs.
I broke my fiat grande punto 2009 petrol fuel cap door off on my birthday the first year of getting the car, and I've just brought replacement for it, however on second check it says diesel on the actual cap, (I only need the door)
I'm trying to find out if the door is the same size for petrol and diesel, because some interweb info is saying no and I was under the impression they were all the same size....
Any help greatly appreciated

I can’t see the flap part being different for petrol/diesel but the caps may be due to different nozzle sizes. So as you just need the flap I’m sure it’ll be fine

Thanks for getting back to me, I would have thought the same too, as it's not an expensive finished car with all the plastics being so easily breakable, I would have thought they'd stick to the same size door, but these days they like to make most things inconsistent so as to hassle us over the small things as much as possible lol I really hope it fits as it's the last replacement piece I needed, before I wrap the roof
I'll update this once I've fitted it so people have the answer in the future
