I had an injector problem while back, which seemed to sort itself out, but since then my baby does not like cruising at around 1850 RPM. She judders until I either accelerate or ease off the gas.
Either side of 1850 and all is fine and dandy.

Any ideas?

Mark did it occur right withe the injector, or laters when the injector prob sorted it self ?
Check the connectors on the injectors, plus leads.

Hi Sven.

The problem seems to have been a continuation from the bigger injector problem. That was over a broad spectrum of engine speeds. Now it is confined to 1850 ish revs.

Weird!

after reading many posts, Mark, surley you've spent sooo much time and money on your brav, you could have made a whole new one ?

Honestly,. my old 1.2 16 1999@70K never gave me any troubles at all ! why not buy a better car, and start again. take advantage of the recession mate !

So much time and money, where have you got that cobblers from?

I have only spent the bare minimum - if that - on my Bravo, and in the 10 years I've had it very few parts have had to be replaced. Indeed, umpteen items you'd expect to have been replaced are original - exhaust, clutch, gearbox to name but a few.

Neither the Bravo or my Teapot cost me over the odds in the 10 years I owned both of them.

If the problem is restricted to a certain point in the rev range, it wil be the Lambda Probe.

Thanks, Anon.

It's not so much a problem, more an annoyance.

I do a fair bit of short-distance 40-mph-cruising on the way to work. I'd normally do a lot of it in 4th. 40 in 4th is..........1850 rpm!
