the Stilo wheels i was considering, but they are VERY expensive new, we are talking £760 odd WITHOUT tyres.

Also if you pick up a 2nd hand set off a Stilo, you will need to change the tyres as they come with 215/ 45 17s and a Punto can only take 205/ 40 17's.

There is a boy in Dundee who has they exact wheels on a blue mk2 Sporting and thy look well nice.

Not a fan of the Punto abarth wheels though. U seen the multispoke ones you get? they are a lot nicer imo

BTW, i cant remember if they are the right offset or not

best way of finding out?
and would good old AC be willing to fit their own wheels to a different model if you pay them?
oh and they are quoted as 531.12 in brochure but is this with/without vat?!?!

ah i dont think those suit the punto at all, too spokey lol

need something more simple

My bad! I could have swore they were dearer when i was looking into getting them.

Ah well

am sure they were dearer a while back but if they dont fit then theres no point!
you reckon AC will fit them and tell me if they will fit?

dont listen to anything Arnold clark say.

The boy tried to tell me that because mt car wasnt an HGT, the black pillar vinyl wouldnt fit!!!

And it did.

The Stilo 17's will fit on somehow because i have seen them on loads of Puntos before, but you will need to get the tyres changes if buying 2nd hand as i said before. I dont know if they need spacers or that tough.

Try looking on http://www.puntomk2.co.uk cos there are a few guys on there who have them

right, i was reading that if you are going to lower the car, you need 3mm spacers on the back (as on mine it rubbed against the shocker bolt).

The Stilo wheels have an offset of ET41 and SHOULD fit straight on with 205 tyres i believe with the spacers to prevent rubbing.

I have also put 3mm spacers on the front of my car, as the tyre was sitting very close to the suspension strut.

sounds good to me! will be lowering it but not much as I want plenty of ground clearance for the speed bumps!
would be buying them brand new from AC at the same time as the hgt so you think they will do it or not?

You might be able to get them cheaper/for free if you haggle with them, mkae on your looking at either the Punto or something else and its down to the deal they can give you.

yeah and am undecided whether to use the 15s that come with it as standard as a way of haggling money off too as a swap or I might keep them to swap between the two for crail or whatever

i very much doubt they will give you them for free.

On second thoughts, just say I sent you

You probably wont get them for free, but its a good starting point, Fiat are cash strapped and dealers want to shift cars

well I'm going for a delivery mileage one when the mk3's appear so hoping they will be giving them away!

If you do that the chances are you will have a limited colour choice, and if u want factory options u wont get them

HGT comes with all options though (Except cruise control) and upgraded alloys, tinted windows, colour coding where required are all extras they can do.
wanting black/red/silver so hoping they will have one... not paying 12 grand if I can get pretty much the same for 7.5 grand!

nah, who would CHOOSE that colour!
saw one in that colour for sale up by the test centre the other day, behind the tesco depot...am sure it was an active sport
after spending hooouurs on MK2 site (not a patch on you guys  ) am confident the 17s will work no probs with your above description...will fiat put on the correct tires and spacers for me?

I have only seen 1 other car my colour in dundee and it was a Dynamic 3 door 55plate

Not a patch on mine though lol

Fiat should put them on as they dont come with tyres anyway
