I can't exactly blast along in a 1.2 GP, so don't worry about keeping up, I didn't go to SICD last year due to having a holiday around that time & I'd had a spate of bad luck before hand, namely to do with a certain 2nd Hand Car Sales on the Heathfield Road, with the Alternators constantly blowing, with 1 blowing on the approach to the Asda Roundabout coming from Whitletts End, having to coast round that roundabout & the mini roundabout by B&Q with no engine.

But *hopefully* I'll make it to SICD this year.

Aah! I think I know the one you mean, and if i think correctly it has been renamed recently?

I too have had run ins with these ones, notorious!

The one I've had problems with haven't changed their name, but they have expanded into Killie.
They've taken the old Bickets/ Verve buildings & changing them into an extension of the company.

I've put you down as a plus 2 for now but it's easily changed if necessary. It's a great day out though with plenty to see and do for everyone

West Coast Rally 2014
Eglinton Park, Irvine, KA12 8TA

13th July 2014

About
Last year (2013) was our first year at West Coast Rally, in association with Autoscots and West Coast Jaguar, and was very much and very thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, which was also helped with the weather, from Fiat-Scotland (And all other clubs that had attended). The turnout was very large last year, with 210 vehicles (Including around 8 from Fiat-Scotland and Abarthisti) and although down on the previous year, there were more than 1500 visitors, which smashed the previous record. The live band was also a pretty good addition to the day. The reptile and bird sanctuary that came along also allowed younger visitors to enjoy the day. This year, fingers crossed for the same weather but stands, more vehicles, and more people.

For 2013, please go here to view some pictures from last year.

This year, 2014
This year, we are hoping to get more people to attend with Fiat Scotland than what we had last year, be it with a Fiat or otherwise. I, personally, will be attending this years rally. Lets see if we can get more than the usual people coming along. I'm sure that Martyn will be bringing the Gazebo and Katie with the BBQ (Or maybe Katie with both?), so we will be doing the usual burgers, bacon and sausage rolls, along with cold drinks and various snacks, complimentary to all Fiat Scotland members.

So people, Who's in for this event. All details are subject to change and pricing and other details will be provided when they become available.

I'm not going to be able to make this. Can't get time off woWork.

Guys had a thought would u allow me to set up a model stall near the fiat camp will try and get signage made up to generate interest so I can sell a few models of mine cheers andy

To be honest I'd be wary of doing that as the organisers may see you as a trader and try and charge you money. It's a problem we've had in the past when show-organisers haven't realised we're a not-for-profit club and have tried to charge us to set up the gazebo and hold a bbq for our members

scoop_987 what do you think?

Harper I'll run it past Ed and see what he says regarding that, not to sure about it myself. But there could be a charge for the stall @weejock

Re west coast...whos planning on an overnight stay and whos looking to head over on the day?

If theres interest then we can again look at making this a weekender...get some food the night before etc

Bump for those who missed this

I'll certainly be down the night before as 195 miles would mean too early a start for the show. Unsurprisingly I won't be camping but definitely up for meeting up for food n stuff

TRADERS:
Just got an email back from the organiser and they charge £50 per stand, however, he has also told me that Ayrshire council are looking for £165 per stand at the show but he will get back to me if the council see's sense.

EDIT:
Pricing has also been announced and is posted in the OP :)

How bloody much [attachment=1:3aaczeh6]shocked (1).gif[/attachment:3aaczeh6]

Cheers for asking though

The show? Hell yeah. FS at the show? Hell yeah!

The only thing in doubt is whether or not traders bother to turn up if Ayrshire council try and charge them £165 per stand.

I'm guessing we can put you and your OH down for the weekender :)
