heres the story, changed headgasket at weekend thinking it was blown, but wasnt blown but it got changed anyway, because the car was running on one or two cylinders and exausting back outta the throttle body, all well and good BUT it will now not start up, it turns over and if petrol is poured into the the TB it starts fine, the fuel is presurising at the end of the pipe where it attaches to the TB but not injecting  so can anyone please shed some light on what its problem is because its confusing the hell outta me and my dad

thanks

cant see anything that has been left out though, and the sensor hasnt been disturbed, unless its just died, i am goin to have a look in a minute

not the TDC sensor. without it it wouldn't spark either.

btw, your initial problem sounds like the cam timing was off.

current problem is just a lack of fuel. do the usual checks. can u hear the fuel pump prime when the ignition is first switched on. if not, investigate. check the fuses near the ECU. 10A one.

ok, i now need a new throttle body but i know what the problem is, there is a pressure diaphram thingy just before the injector, yes? well that wasnt opening, my dad had the great idea of ripping the diaphram to prove that is was the problem and sure as hell it was. Just snapped the bolts when removing them because of tight they were so it cant really be used again, oh welll, just a good excuse to get a bigger throttle body
